About Us

In 1996, Nick Patel, alongside his wife Rita Patel, founded Kalyan Hospitality with their first property, Sleep Inn, in Richmond, Virginia. From these humble beginnings, the company has strategically expanded its portfolio to include 40 hotels and over 4,000 rooms. Based in Virginia, Kalyan Hospitality is a full-service company offering management, development, consulting, and accounting expertise to the hospitality industry. With a strong commitment to growth, the company continually seeks opportunities in emerging markets and currently has three additional properties under construction plus two conversions. Kalyan continues to invest in future developments, acquisitions, renovations, and ongoing improvements for our properties.
